Great pictures. Did you have fun? That's a huge place, castle looking. And that lawn!! So manicured and large. And I've never seen a butterfly that up close and so clear. Your pictures are even educational; I'm learning! :)

We had a really good time - I wasn't all that excited about going (not a big fan of traveling) but usually have a good time once I'm packed and out of the house!! We stayed at an old hotel (The Grove Park Inn) and I really enjoyed the time we spent at the Biltmore Mansion - it was an amazing place built in the early 1900's and the grounds were really pretty. The house had over 250 rooms and 43 bathrooms - amazing considering most homes didn't even have indoor plumbing in the early 1900's. It was also one of the first homes with electricity. It had an indoor pool with lights UNDER water. LOTS of history and they do a really good job with the headphones (as your guide and going at your own pace).
